PCs Suck

So I have a YouTube channel for any new readers out there. And I enjoy making reviews of the latest games for that channel for people to see and base their judgment of whether to get a game or not, depending on my experience. I feel helpful, have fun doing it, and even if no one watched the videos I'd make them anyway, it's just a hobby of mine. But I would like to inform everyone:
There will never be a PC game reviewed ever again (After FEAR2).
Why you ask? Well you see I use FRAPs to record on PCs, and FRAPs doesn't work so well. You see, FRAPs is supposed to create one giant file that I can hack at and maniuplate, but my FRAPs does something a little different.
See my fraps decides to make hundreds of files that are all three minutes long. You might say, oh that's no so bad, just merge them all together. But I would like to draw you attention to one small detail that makes this whole experience loathe inducing:
224 FUCKING GIGABYTES ARE WASTED BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID ERROR. For those of you who don't know, the standard harddrive for Dells is 250GB, 25GB of which is unusable (software) and lets assume you have some music on your drive that takes up the remaining 25GBs. So if I didn't have an external hardrive I would be FUCKED.
This is an accurate portrayal of my harddrive's use.
And to top it all off, these various video files? Don't even record sound, not unless you render them in Sony Vegas, and guess how long that takes?
You can't see it too well. But it says that Elapsed time is 12 hours and the remaining is 9 hours. So 21 hours is wasted rendering this bullshit video. Meaning I can barley use my computer for an entire day. Videos are choppy as hell, and even typing out text is lagged behind. I can type out an entire sentence, and it won't figure out what I typed until 2 seconds later. I fear anyone who has a lesser computer than mine, but has to go through the same procress.
So yeah, I'll never review Fallout 3, and Dawn of War 2 will not be reviewed either, nor Left4Dead, etc. etc.
FEAR2 by the way? Pretty good.
