Thank you for everything Alex, Brad and Vinny. You will be deeply missed. Wishing you all the best for whatever you do in the future. It's a very sad day at GB, but I take great comfort in the fact that there is a lot of content I'm behind on to watch. I'll make it last as long as I can. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'll be here for whatever Jeff, Jan and Jason create going forward.

Man this hurts. I don't even know where to begin other than saying a massive thank you from the bottom of my heart to Vinny, Brad and Alex. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for everything. You've all been a huge part of my life for over 15 years now and it's hard to picture a future where I don't hear your voices on these podcasts or see your faces on future content.

I started getting into video games back in 2004/2005. By that I mean going out and looking for games content that was informative and fun. I found Gamespot which led me to the Hotspot. This feels like that mass exodus all over again. I was astounded when Jeff "left", soon to be followed by Ryan, Alex, Vinny, Brad and a slew of other Gamespot regulars. I thought I'd be done with the whole video game podcast thing. I happened upon Gamespot by searching 'video games' into Google but stayed because of your personalities.

Then Arrow Pointing Down came along. I checked my profile and it says date joined: 2008-07-21. Insane. I think of how much my life has changed since then and feel truly lucky to have been able to rely on and enjoy your consistency and quality over the years. No matter what changed in my life, I could always count on hearing your familiar voices. I'm sure there's a more elegant expression for it, but watching GB content and listening to the podcasts truly feels like being home. It has always been a comfort to me. I can put on my headphones, play the latest podcast and feel...I don't know what. Like everything is fine. Thank you for that.

I never understood why people go so upset when celebrities died. Why are you mourning this person you never met and who wouldn't know you from Adam? So you listened to their music a lot or loved the films they made? So what? When Ryan passed away I got it. I opened the website that day at work, saw the picture and the headline, read the news article and cried at the office. I had to excuse myself. I cried again later listening to the podcast where you all shared your stories of that man. Vinny thanking Ryan for how he had changed not only his life, but the lives’ of his children broke me. It was strange. How does the loss of someone you never knew hurt that much? Here I am again listening crying to you talk about your GB memories.

It's selfish to say I wish this wasn't happening. That I wish we could all rely on being able to listen to all of you for another 10 years. All good things must end I suppose, but dammit there are a few times in life when I wish they wouldn't. Vinny, Alex and Brad. I wish you all the best for whatever you are moving onto now and nothing but happiness for the years to come.

Watching Brad play this is really tempting me to pick it up on PS4. It's even on sale right now for $32. I just don't think I'd be good at it. It looks too chaotic and I admit I'm a bit of a completionist, so I know I'd be SOL if there are any trophies for beating the game on the highest difficulty.

Bummer but I didn't expect much out of EA for this series. Haven't bought an NHL since '17. Guess I'll wait and see what they bring for the PS5 next year.

Anyone know how this runs on a base PS4?

I'm caught up with Outer Worlds at the moment anyways so not in a huge rush to pick this up, especially now hearing how buggy it is. Might just wait until it's on sale after Christmas. Hopefully some patches will have come out by then.

Was the intro meant to be that dark? I couldn't see anything when Vinny said that's disturbing imagery.

WOW that checkpoint at the end...baffling...god awful. Nothing about this game I've seen them cover on this site has made me want to pick this up. Beats the boss, dies after boss, restart the mission! It's just...HOW!?!?

Bullet spongy enemies, repetitive same looking environment, annoying repetitive banter, bad partner AI. Sorry but it's a hard pass on this one.

Although I did love that moment where he full on sprints at the crate to open it and falls off the level! XD

Well done for soldiering on Brad. If it was me I would have quit and uninstalled the game right then and there. Patience of a saint.
