This series is a fun idea, but personally have a ton of trouble watching videos where the hosts aren't interested at all in the game their playing. It reminds me of the critique many people had of Duke Nukem Forever: it's not good, nor is it bad in an interesting way, it's just bad in a boring way. I rather watch people be interested by bad video games instead of being bored by bad video games.
There are lots of good moments in this episode, and Ben and Jeff are genuinely funny, but I feel like I gained nothing over the 1 hour. I wish I could have it back.
Yeah, it sucks to say, but I feel the same way. I don't really have much else to add that you haven't said already. This isn't me being salty over Kingdom Hearts - because I have little reverence for this series - it's just when the hosts aren't interested, it's hard to get into it yourself.
Not every video can be a hit, I get that, but this was just kinda awkward.
I hope future episodes are longer unless they plan to for this playthrough of the first game alone to last a year. Also, Ben is just the greatest. The evil water mage Riku joke made me laugh waaaay more than I probably should have.
Holy fuck. These look awesome. I love customization in anything so I'd love to mess around with one of these. Even if I only bother with it once in a blue moon, I'm still glad they're doing this.
Great banter by the guys but a bit of a disappointing presentation from Sony. I'm really hoping the Xbox One X is a big success just because competition seems to be the only thing to get the goods from Sony. When they're leading the market they just coast along with no perceivable effort.
This is how I'm feeling after the show. I feel like Sony let their guard down and I hope Microsoft clocks them across the face. Sony had a great first half of 2017 and, like I mentioned in another thread, Destiny 2 and CoD are probably going to help move a ton of PS4s, but this show just felt like them shrugging their shoulders and going "where else are you all going to go? HAHAHA"
