@depecheload: I've been working in the corporate world for about 10 years since I got out of college. I know how to navigate it pretty well. Certainly better than Rapp.

I realize it's a sexier story to say Nintendo sacked this girl for no reason and that they're the big evil lying corporate entity (despite any evidence to back that up) so you can continue to believe what you want.

i stopped reading at "girl".

cool.

@austin_walker ; @vinny My biggest issue with the GB staff is they trumpet Rapp's quote about moonlighting being ok with Nintendo, when Nintendo's statement is very clear about the nature of the second job being the cause of her termination. That's how you know GB is completely disingenuous with their commentary, because I'm sure they have some basic level of reading comprehension.

@efesell: Considering Rapp doesn't disagree with her second job being against Nintendo's corporate culture, and isn't really disputing anything, no, I think it's fair to take Nintendo at their word that it was inappropriate for a Nintendo PR employee. And the fact that her PUBLIC Twitter contains her Amazon wishlist where she willingly models lingerie that people buy for her, no, there isn't much to leave to speculation.

Yawn. Again GB not acknowledging that the nature of Rapps's second job is what got her fired, not the fact that she HAD a second job. Their agenda couldn't be more clear, and their assumption that her job was uncovered because of GG is complete speculation. Not reupping my premium sub.

Brad once again not knowing the facts of a situation. Rapp wasn't fired for moonlighting, she was fired because the job she chose for moonlighting wasn't in line with Nintendo's corporate culture (which means on probably wasn't appropriate for a PR face of a company like Nintendo,)

As for how they discovered what that second job was, no one knows but them and it's 100% speculation on Brad's part that it had anything to do with an Internet hate campaign.

Fallout 4 is an absolute disappointment. As the years go by, the amount and bugs and jank in their games becomes less and less acceptable when the core game is essentially exactly the same with no substantial improvements, and the wow factor of the big world continues to be lessened.
