I am getting a little sick of the difference in mobile and social games. I don't play a ton of them but when I do they are all the same. Click a button, wait 30 seconds, click a button. If you're lazy you can pay that company to make the time pass more quickly so you feel better about yourself. Or you can match 3. Its just getting... stale.
@dagas: He has the game but not my save file. It was just easier to show him something or if he was out I could play my file as well. Just convenience I guess.
@SockLobster: I'm seeing it more as people losing jobs in the end. Granted yes the used games market is a disaster but even publishers are finding ways around that with things like the EA pass.
Now that most games are doing private and public beta testing I wouldn't be too surprised if this was the product testing departments. Although, it is really sad to hear that 600 people lost their jobs and Blizzard. I bet that was a sweet gig.
This is my first day here on Giant Bomb and I'm really liking the site. Just soaking in all the content (news, podcast, quicklooks, reviews, etc.). I've been listening to the podcast for almost a year now and I've messed with the site a little bit for wiki's and news. But today I decided to throw down 5 bucks for the monthly fee because its just amazing.
Things I'm loving so far are the achievement tracker, the leveling system, and the wiki. I'm going to become addicted to this leveling thing I think, numbers make me happy. So, less than 24 hours and almost level 8. I wonder what a week will bring me.
On a side note, I'm almost done with Reckoning. I plan on taking notes on this last run of the game. Two achievements left and I've failed too many attempts this time. I'll take what I know from this time and put it into the wiki, (expanding combat trees, plot lines, and DLC).
