I've opened up the hatch in the ground at the top of the mountain, gone all the way down to sea level, and gotten into the Willy Wonka flying elevator thing.
Right now I have all 11 lasers active and pointed at the arches. The implication here being that I don't have that one laser in town pointed at the other thing it can be pointed at, if that makes a difference.
Up at the mountaintop I'm seeing a bunch of stone people and all 11 lasers converging on what looks like some yellow thing suspended from one of the arches. The thing that the lasers are hitting is too far away to get a good look at. I've tried interacting with it from the ground/peak but it doesn't seem to do anything. I also tried lining up the point of convergence with the sun in case that did anything, but no luck there either.
I know (or at least presume) that each time I fired up another laser, it opened up another lock on that box the guy is holding. I activated the box and went into the mountain with only 8 or so lasers, but have since gone back and activated the remaining lasers. If the lasers are doing anything other than opening those locks on the box, I haven't noticed.
On the center platform, there's a guy holding a box and a guy holding a cable. As I go down into the mountain, there are spots where I can see that cable (or the same kind of cable) snaking down (or up), but I lose track of it partway down. Maybe it has something to do with that cable?
