@engineno9: The difference is that the game is running it on hardware you don't own.
I'm not really with Brad on this one, but Geforce Now and Steam Link aren't comparable. Nvidia's Gamestream service, which streams the game from your PC to your shield tv, is the actual comparable service to Steam Link. It also doesn't have a subscription fee and supports all games. Edit: I think the comparison to a LAN cafe is actually more apt, since you're again renting hardware to play a game.
To be clear, I'm in the camp that says publishers really shouldn't have a say on whether I can remote into another computer, launch steam with my own credentials and install and play the games I already own. That seems crazy to me.
I also think it's crazy that Nvidia launched this service without nailing all this shit down contractually. As it stands this is the only game streaming service that seems worthwhile but it looks like a mess right now.
They should either remaster the original Nier, or commit to the PS5 being backwards compatible with PS3 games and include original Nier in whatever weird licensing agreement they need for that. I'll accept either.
On the one hand, bringing Han back is a sign that they are running out of ideas, and are reaching the point that they need to rely on nostalgia and cheap emotional grabs.

"Supremely underwhelming" is the proper description of Jimmy Johns. Fast, and generic to the point of near tastelessness are the virtues of JJ. You will never have a bad time with Jimmy, so long as you aren't looking to have a good time either.
Drakengard 3 is bad in a way that's kind of similar to how Drakengard 1 is bad. I respect it. It's not good.
Drakengard 2 is terrible. The gameplay is an improvement over 1, but 1 was trash and slightly better trash is still trash, and the story and characters didn't have any of the intoxicating draw that Drakengard 1 did. Edit: In deference to 'auteur theory', I should mention that this is the one with the least involvement from Yoko Taro.
Drakengard 1 is hot trash with few if any redeeming qualities. It's my favorite game on the PS2.
Gonna agree with Jan, the pacing on the new dialog is a lot better. And so is the voice acting performance. But most of the ReMind episode is just rewatching the old endgame cutscenes, which are all kind of atrocious. It makes me wonder what was going on with the production of that game, because the DLC content seems more well edited and polished.
The kind of dumb shit I'd want to see in a Dragon Ball Z rpg is a first encounter where you are controlling the farmer in a pickup truck and then get fucking wasted by Radditz.
