Any one of these fights could be fight of the night but I have to pick this one. I see Kingsbury winning this fight by close decision.
Martin Kampmann vs Rick "The Horror" Story
This fight is interesting but I think Story will win because of his wrestling but it could go either way. I could see Kampmann blitzing him on the feet but I just don't think his takedown defense is good enough to stop "The Horror" from scoring points with takedowns.
Urijah Faber vs Brian Bowles
Brian Bowles has a tendency to break his hands in fights but other than that his striking is lethal. Urijah Faber is the better overall mixed martial artist and I think that will give him the edge in this title eliminator.
Cung Le vs Wanderlei Silva
I love Wanderlei he follows me on twitter and I will be cheering for him but I don't see him beating Cung Le at this stage of his carreer.
Dan "Hendo" Henderson vs Mauricio "Shogun" Rua
I don't see Shogun winning this fight by decision that is for sure but this fight is similar to JDS and Cain because if Shogun wins it will be by stoppage in the 1st/early 2nd round. If Henderson wins it will be by Decision (most likely). I think that Henderson will push him up against the cage and beat him via decision by ground and punding him for most of this fight BUT you can't forget about the H-Bomb Dan Henderson's right hand that can stop any man on the planet. This fight will be sick it will most likely determine the number 1 contender for the Lightweight championship (even though Gilbert Melendez should fight Frankie next). I have to go for Ben because I believe he will have the edge in the striking department but get ready for a good old fashioned WAR.
On FOX for the Heavyweight Championship of the world: Cain Velasquez vs Junior "Cigano" Dos Santos
This fight is extremely close to call but I have to give it to Velasquez because of his Cardio and Wrestling. He should be able to wear him out and finish him in late 3d or early 4th round.
Damn!!!! I will have to miss the 137 card because I am going to my dad's and then going to Birmingham but I will record it and watch it when I come back from UFC 138.
UFC 137:
Hatsu Hioki vs George Roop
Japanese fighters with a lot of hype usually don't do so well in the UFC there could be because the fighters aren't that good and are fighting tomato cans. Who knows but Hatsu Hioki could be the first to one to prove me wrong but until then I will have to go against him in his fight at UFC 137 vs George Roop.
Jeff Curran vs Scotty Jorgensen
Jeff Curran is back in the UFC and more importantly back with Zuffa but he is going against a TOUGH Scotty Jorgensen even though I would have loved too have seen Cerrone and Siver fight on this card I am glad to see the 135ers and 145ers on this card. I have to pick Jorgensen just because Curran is past it.
Roy Nelson vs Mirko Cro Cop
Roy Nelson vs Mirko Cro Cop could be the most boring fight of the night or it could easily be a KO of the night for either of these guys. Let us hope for this fight to be exciting. Nelson will win because of his beard alone.
Matt Mitrione vs Cheick Kongo
Matt Mitrione is easily one of my personal favorite fighters. I genuinely get excited every week Mitrione is on the MMA Hour which I have been watching pretty much since he started doing the "Mitrione Minute". I remember being let down when at UFC fight for the troops he didn't shout out the MMA Hour but let us hope for it this week. I could go on about the "Mitrione Minute" forever but fighting Cheick Kongo is no joke. It is very tough but I have to go for Matt Mitrione because of hand speed.
Nick Diaz vs BJ Penn
I am also a huge Nick Diaz fan and I could and should do a whole blog about what occurred with the whole Diaz not showing up at the press conference. This fight will be awesome. Nick Diaz will win because his endurance is the best in MMA and just like his last fight with Paul Daley he will put a pace on him that BJ can't possibly pass. Diaz by submission but love both fighters.

OK!!! First fight of the night is Melvin "The Young Assassin" Guillard vs. Joe Lauzon. I see this fight going to Guillard on this one. He as usual trained at Greg Jackson's but he went over at imperial to train with the likes of "Suga" Rashad and Anthony "Rumble". Melvin is a lethal striker at 155 and he performs as well as he did in his last fight he should be knocking on the door for the belt and the KO Bonus at the end of the night.
Now we have the rematch fans have been waiting for for a while Nam Phan vs. Leonard Garcia II. You probably heard about the controversial decision last december and if not you must have been hiding under a rock. Phan won the first fight in everyones eyes........except for the judges. The controversy will end saturday and I have Phan winning this one by decision.
Chael Sonnen vs. Brian Stann is interesting for one main reason (besides the fact that Sonnen is arguably the funniest man on the planet) is how much improved is Stann's takedown defense since the Phil Davis fight if it has improved immensely it STILL may not be enough to stop Sonnen's takedowns. Yes he is that good at them. I imagine Sonnen winning by decision but do not count Brian Stann out he is a war veteran and he will not be afraid of Chael Sonnen.
Ok guys I am literally just writing this after the weigh ins. I am no expert on how a fighter "looks" on weigh in day but Florian seemed more confident this time around stepping on that scale but I still think Aldo will pull this one off. He is Currently #2 P4P fighter in the world IMO and it would take someone like Gilbert Melendez or Frankie Edgar to beat this guy. I still think if "KenFlo" can take him down and stay on top of him it could be very interesting.
Frankie Edgar vs Gray Maynard II was AWESOME!!!. This time around it may not live up to the awesomeness that the second fight was I don't know that. I am lucky to be Irish because I do not have to pay for PPV because the show them live on ESPN uk but even if I had to pay I would have payed money for UFC 125 the card was stacked. Everyone was saying that Edgar vs Maynard II would be a snooze fest but not me. I knew that usually when you have two awesome wrestlers fighting each other that the stand and bang but I do understand peoples worries seeing how the first fight planned out but now this is a new card UFC 136. Lets just hope to see fireworks from these guys I will have to pick the champ for this one because of better boxing skills and head movement.
