Yep, provided tossing the old hdd into the new machine isn't an option, sharing over your home network is probably the way to go. Or you can get a crossover cable and hook the two machines directly.
@rorie:I'm really glad you championed this game the way you did. Played through it a month or two ago after it was in the Humble Monthly Bundle and I loved it. Kind of drags at the end, but it was kind of criminally overlooked. Thanks!
@andythemez: I get the impression that these aren't going to be gone after a few days. This seems more like a PS+/Games with Gold deal. Maybe not though!
Yeah, another game launcher isn't ideal, but it's kind of a small price to play if they keep this level of quality up. It's a shame you can't gift duplicates like you can with Humble Bundle.
Hey, I didn't see a topic about this, so I figured I would post this as a PSA. If you have Twitch Prime, which you do if you are an Amazon Prime member, they are now giving away a few games each month. I just got DMC HD Collection, Mr Shifty, Oxenfree, some D&D game, Superhot and Shadow Tactics. Not bad! Next month will include Steamworld Dig 2 among other things.
I'm really enjoying this game so far. I've only played maybe an hour or two (just rescued my first survivor), and I've probably died about a half dozen times, but it feels like every time it is 100% my fault. Pretty neat game. The fact that you're referring to it as MGS is weird though, for obvious reasons.
I've learned to accept that I have dozens of games on steam that I will just never play. Many of them are things I would like to at least touch, but there just isn't enough time.
