Alexstraza > Heroic bosses.

Freeze Mage pooped on Anub and Maexxna.

Oh man, why didn't I think of that? I do NOT have the dust to be crafting Alexstraza right now though after all my tightwad gold-saving antics. I was thinking of making a separate thread to post winning heroic mode decklists? Thoughts? (I got through anub' Rekhan with just a rush warlock, but the others will be tough)

@ares42: I also enjoy the dehumanization of my opponent, which sounds downright sociopathic, but in reality I'm a very introverted person who generally hates online play for that reason. Being able to face human opponents without exchanging more than basic pleasantries is a refreshing change of pace. Any ability for opt-in chat creates a moral impetus to politely acquiesce to their request.

Same reason I don't like my cell phone. Sure, I don't have to answer, but by its mere existence I'm being a dick if I refuse that conversation.

@aerobie: Math checks out to me. 2800 is the asking price if you're going all gold. Assuming you play each daily and do some ladder, you could make 100 gold a day and have the 700g asking price by the end of each week as they're released, but thats 2-3 hours a day. Just depends on how much your free-time is worth.

@alistercat: I've been completely free-to-play on this game as a matter of pride, but if I was going to break down and finally pay these guys for the amazing game they've put out, now would be that time.

700 Gold per wing or $6.99 a pop, with bundle deals as pictured.

First wing is free during the month-long "launch event," with a new paid wing opening each week throughout.

UPDATE: Set to release on July 22.

All in all, I'd say thats reasonable considering theres a legendary card in each wing. It'd take a miracle to accrue the 1600 dust you need for a legendary from the roughly equivalent 4 arena runs you'd normally be paying into, so I guess they're cutting me a deal?

At 400 gold right now though, its time for me to start hoarding...

Read it with all of Blizzard's obnoxious puns HERE

@hurricaneivan29: No worries man, luckily theres only so much frustration you can express in Hearthstone emotes! They were good games regardless. thanks for the support

I can't help you spectate much else, but I did stream/record my match-ups thus far. At the risk of losing my competitive advantage (gasp!), you're welcome to come watch my games and sit through my painfully long turns while I try and do basic arithmetic in my head-> http://www.twitch.tv/betterbuckleup/profile If nothing else, I'm sure it'd be interesting to see how you play from someone else's perspective. Cheers

@spoonman671: Alright, another baseless attack on my character. I'm officially done with this thread. Please close it. I'll post again with a more content rich piece, which seems to be what this community enjoys most.

@sinusoidal: Yes you did criticise my logic and style, which is very kind of you, but no, I never said you couldn't do that. What I said was "You cannot simultaneously concede the figurative tone and then literally assess the content." For example, objecting that "people don't really ask those questions" and then telling me its a fallacious strawman argument. The two necessarily involve each other. But I get that you're mostly objecting to the tone, which if taken literally (despite the obvious fact its not literal) could leave someone offended.

I don't want to fight, but I'm not afraid to defend my ideas. I like to challenge my ideas and grow from that. But honestly, I've lost sleep over all the vitriolic hate I've gotten for my opinion on a video game.

@sinusoidal: cool insult bro. Want to explain my "bullshit" or just personally deride my character some more?
