I have a strong welsh accent and i have almost no problems with the voice recognition, and the only problems i have had seem to be me speaking too fast or too quiet.

Yeah as soon as you change the settings to 'normal' they are both there, as well as calling all units, or group control etc.

I would love it if the next thing you see is Nick Cannon walk out, and then barker karate chopping him to the back of the neck, and then when he is on the floor he says "come on ladies, finish him off with the hammers"

I picked up the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R and i gotta say, it's a great game especially with the patches and al,l but the one thing that bugs me is all the running around that you have to do. I have a question for anyone who has played clear sky, have they added any other ways to get around? like a auto transport feature like a mule or something? it just bugs me with all the 'run here, run there' objectives.

I think as long as we can buy alcohol legally then we should legalise cannabis.

Yeah, i think i will pick up the first one, The only thing putting me off getting it was the fact that the reviews states a lot of bugs, but with the numerous patches then it should be ok to play now. Also i have Vista and i have read that some people are having trouble playing SoC on vista. Well i am going to pick it up.

I am considering buying this game after missing out on the 1st one. I am curious though, would you say you need to play the first one to enjoy this or can you play this as a standalone game, without any knowledge of the first? It looks like a great game, even with the bugs and glitches.

I have put in around 15 hours into this game already as well. I do agree with a lot of your problems with the game. This game has far exceded my design and building expectations, but with the game itself, i find it enjoyable, with some stages more enjoyable than others.  My biggest dissapointment with this game is that it gets going and get me excited to discover new aspects, but it doesn't kick into the next gear, the RTS aspects are quite boring and Civ seems to last too long, so far the space stage is great but it kind of assumes that you can do some areas without explanation, such as terraforming, which i am still not 100% sure of. The game itself is enjoyable and i am still going to keep playing it, i would recommend the game as well. Oh yeah, remember there is no auto save, i lost almost 4 hours of playing because i didn't save.

This game was great when it came out. I don't know if it has aged well though, but i haven't played it in years so i couldn't tell you.
