The first Croc was decent, but this one may bite. 2

The first Croc was released sometime in 1997, and, while not groundbreaking, it was still fun and sold well. So, there was a sequel. And, like most sequels, it was inferior to the first. You play as Croc, a crocodile, who in the last game saved the gobbos from Baron dante. Now, on a beach, Croc finds a message in a bottle from his parents, saying they want their son to return. So the gobbos build a catapult and launch Croc to the island where they are. However, the catapult is facing away from t...

It was buggy at release, but now it can finally be enjoyed. 0

Spyro: enter the dragonfly was the fourth game in the popular Spyro the dragon franchise, but it received poor critical acclaim due mostly to the fact that it was largely unfinished. The only way it could be called complete was calling it a complete mess. But over the years, they made newer copies and fixed up the game. So if you got a copy from day 1, its unplayable. But if you got a copy made a year later, it'll be almost completely fixed. Anyway, in the game you play as Spyro the dragon, who ...

After many bad games, Batman gets a game worthy of his bat-self. 0

Despite being my favorite superhero, Batman just hasn't had many good games. Batman: Dark tomorrow was crazier than a soup-sandwich, Batman: Vengeance was just boring and too short, but the movie Batman begins was great, and fortunately, so was the game. You play as Batman, but just like in the movie, its the coolest batman ever. His suit is awesome, he has some incredible moves, and he thinks like a detective. I wouldn't miss the loss of his bat-voice, but he's still awesome. The game itself is...

If you have time and patience, and like shooters, try this out. 2

1998 was a great year for video games. Revolutionary games like Half-life, The legend of zelda: OOC, Rainbow six, Metal gear solid, and Banjo-Kazooie were released. So its no surprise that many great games were overlooked. But one of the most overlooked was Unreal. Back in the day, its graphics were great. It was the Crysis of 1998. Many people had to get good rigs to play it, which might be why it was overlooked. But there was more to this game. The story is told similarly to half-life, where t...

One of the better Batman games, but still not great. 1

I've always been a big batman fan. Period. So not surprisingly, I've gotten my hands on a few of his video games. Some were ok, while some should not even be mentioned. Batman: vengeance is one of the better ones, but that's not saying much. This game actually isn't based on the movies or comic books. Its based on the animated series. So if you liked that, you may get some nostalgia from this game. Me, I never really liked the TV show. The first major problem we have here is a lack of content. T...

Warning: playing this game may cause a dark tomorrow. 0

I've always been a batman fan, especially of the comics. So when I heard about this game, I got interested. Finally I saw this at Gamestop one day for $6.99, so I bought it. But now, thinking back, I wish I just left it on that shelf. Not surprisingly, you take the role of batman, as he gets tied into a plot involving all his arch-enemies. I don't want to spoil the story, but there's really nothing to spoil. The plot is thin, uninteresting and rushed. I'll leave it at that. The game actually gav...
