"correct me if i am wrong, but i thought i heard the gaming industry dwarfs the amount hollywood makes now. "
Games make more money than movies because a game costs 6 times the amount a movie ticket does, not because people buy more games than they watch movies.
"No, just because movies can be seen in entirety in 2-3 hours. Not many people actually complete a game to the credits; and it takes more effort to actually get into gaming than just sitting down in a movie theatre. "
This. The general population doesn't want to sit down and make playing games their social/extracurricular hobby. After work, the general population likes to go outside and play sports or socialize with people in bars and whatnot. A movie is easily fit into any schedule and is easily consumed, while a game takes (comparitively) much more effort to go finish.
I hadn't heard about Oldschool, but I'm not surprised he left. I never thought he was much of a troll, but this website just wasn't for him. He always seemed like the kind of guy that would have been happier on a Nintendo website.
I would, but I actually think I'd rather watch the TNT than play in it. I haven't decided, but I probably won't get in anyway. I'm assuming you just go on you Xbox Live account and put out a friend request to GBTNT?
I agree that the main story elements were weaker in ME2 than in ME1, but the second game was mostly centered around the character stories, which were awesome :)
