I'm hoping DS 3 will be on par with DS1, realisticly though probably not. My main problems with DS2 were the (amount of) underwhelming bosses and the feeling that the world wasn't verry cohesive.

I've played all these damn games and loved them all but DS1 remains my watershed moment, mainly because the world felt like this wonderfull mysterious and atmospheric inter connected place to explore, DS2 just didn't measure up in that respect.

I've managed to stay away from any media save the E3 announcement trailer (had a hard time not watching the GBE stream though) so I don't really know what to expect and hope to be pleasantly surprised. I'm not even sure I'll pick this one up at launch as Bloodborne and Scholars of the first sin still seem so fresh in my memory.

To combine these 2 fantastic new initiatives, FOM has announced that they will let the fans decide the rules for each race's qualifying sessions.

Fans will be able to tweet their best ideas on how they think quallifying for each race weekend should be structured @FOM.

"We decided to let the fans decide how we handle quallifying for each race weekend, because quite clearly we don't have a clue" says unnamed FOM representative.

Congratulations to "F1 driver of the day" Rio Haryanto who deservedly won the inaugural driver of the day award voted on by the fans, We're probably going to see him picking up a lot of these as he managed to pick up allmost twice as many votes as his nearest contender Romain Grosjean.

Hold on, this just in: Romain Grosjean has won the driver of the day award? The FIA/FOM decided that in this award voted on by the public, the public was actually wrong and they decided on their own winner instead.

Another great new idea from the FIA/FOM to reinvigorate the F1 race weekend...

@ripelivejam: thats kind of how I feel, I love these games and hope this one is good but I could do with some time off. I still haven't finished all the DLC for the scholars of the first sin...

haven't seen anything apart from the announcement trailer from E3, not even sure I'll pick it up right away but I won't seek out any video or screens. I'll just check what the reviews say and try to drown out the noise till I have a chance to play it.

Happy B-Day Oblivion! I actually went back and finished some quests a few weeks ago and still had some fun with it. The light bloom on Vicente Valtieri's face was still broken though.

I think the problem with (personality of the year) Max Verstappen is that he's an 18 year old who had a reasonable 1st season in an OK car. He could do with some more seasoning and it might have been better for him to have had a few humbling seasons in an actual back of the field car to do some character building. Instead everybody and their mom have been blowing smoke up his ass and it feels like he's starting to believe in his own hype. I feel more and more sorry for Carlos Sainz as the first question any interviewer will ask him will invariably be about his team mate.

Don't get me wrong, I still want Ves to do well (national pride and all that) but hearing him on the radio was kind of cringe worthy, maybe they can just have a mysterious radio issue for the next few races, either that or just gag the little shit.
