I don't eat meat. I dropped it a long time ago, as I find the concept of systematically slaughtering animals for food to be a bit wanton for my tastes.  I do find PETA a bit obnoxious, however. Maybe not as obnoxious as the people bitching about PETA, but obnoxious none the less.

Sports games, generally.

Otherwise, I don't dislike any specific genres.

Depends on the game, but generally, no.

I've had plenty spoiled for me, and while it may put a damper on the experience, it's usually worth it... Or at least it was in those cases.

If I recall correctly, they ended up giving FES a 4/5.

They spoiled the ending to the journey at the very beginning of the review, though.

I liked it, for the record.

"  Wouldn't it be awesome if we can see how Giant Bomb would look like in 1995?  I would guarantee that Times New Roman would be the font of choice.  Giant Bomb is way too flashy as it is and a major downgrade should be implemented for those running older computers.  There's a small percentage that are browsing Giant Bomb through Netscape Navigator on their old Pentium processor and we should accommodate those by changing the font to Times New Roman and lowering the image quality to something more reasonable.
No to this part. Giantbomb was created in the now. People should try and get with the times, especially since you can buy some computers dirt cheap nowadays that would have 0 problems running Giantbomb smoothly. "
Oh wow. Did you read the entire thing?

I know right?

It is not something that I would advocate without significant research.
Though, generally speaking, the people telling you what goes on in the DPRK are generally the ones that have something to gain by saying something negative about it. As with many places.

I do keep contact with a few Communists living over there, though. Two from the states, one from Cuba.
But again, I dont (why the fuck isnt my apostrophe key working?) want to get off topic.

" @wordsgohere: At the most recent people's Congress, President Hu declared that the People's Republic would be "fully implementing the principles of Scientific Development". By that he means, continuing market-oriented reforms, since that has been what has pulled their people out of poverty in the 10s of millions per year, not communal farming, or collective ownership of capital. China abandoned Communism because Communism doesn't work.  But that's not what we're discussing in this thread, we're discussing what PR China means to the world today. "

See that's the thing, it can't abandon something that has never actually existed.  It's Socialism that was being pursued as a stepping stone to Communism. Mao did a lot of things that I strongly disagree with, though. And people parading around as Maoists generally have no understanding of Marxism-Leninism in the first place.

I don't really care about China, though - Around 50% of China’s economic activity is in the public (i.e. state owned) sector, while the rest is private. That is why it is referred to as, "a gigantic and expanded NEP." Vietnam and Laos have similar economic systems, while Cuba and the DPRK are more around 90% public sector. I promote those two.

Anyways, I'm getting off topic. I'll leave you to it. I need to call up the CPUSA national board and see if anything is being done to end the fucking liquidationist tactics being employed at the moment, anyways.
