I haven't bought the game, though I am considering it despite finding the beta to be impenetrable and not even being much of a fan of the survival genre. I think the character progression is what makes it seem appealing, though even there I've no idea whether that's compelling enough throughout the entire single player, which is the only mode I'd be interested in. I think I might just be bored and looking for something new to play... probably not a good reason to drop $40 on something which might not be my thing at all.
Totally random aside, but I picked up The Surge and its DLC during the recent Steam sale and really enjoyed my time with it. Now looking for something to fill the space that game left after finishing it.
I've put in quite a few hours in the game, and even I haven't seen the Sunbeam yet. I've held off on it because I thought that was the end of the game. I wonder if this is safe to watch anyway?
There's a lot more to uncover after the Sunbeam stuff, unless you've already found that through exploring I guess.
No offence to Abby, but she has been completely out of her depth for these whole deliberations. Would have been fairer for her to maybe have skipped this year and come in next year after more experience in the industry.
What a shitty comment. I don't share Abby's taste in games at all and think she brought a whole lot to these discussions. I completely disagree with her in a lot of what she was arguing, but there was nothing lesser about those arguments compared to what anyone else in that room brought to the table.
