Full charge for not even a full second freeze?  I think you need to be sure you've ACTUALLY fully charged, because the full charge has the tips of the snowflake filled out, too, not just the hexagon border.  Try it again next game and look closely or something.  I don't use Ice mage much so maybe I'm a bit off on the freeze time.

I guess I'll be "that guy" and say I like each class at its own times.  I've had a superbly gratifying experience with EACH class available when I played it at the right point in time with respect to the action that was going on and the objectives that we were completing.  Being a Priest behind the lines of a big battle and giving continuous lifelines to your warriors, to being a Dark(?) Priest sucking the life out of enemy units while your Ranger teammate picks them off, to holding down chokepoints with the Worker's bombs and Ranger's shotgun, to coming into a big battle late and using the Mage's area spells for clean-up.

It was great gameplay design with how easy it is to change classes in your base, but it was straight-up ingenuity with how you can change classes by picking up other people's hats in the field.
