I'd hope that the eShop gets some more consumer-friendly features like being able to pay exact change for games rather than buying odd amounts of points and always having leftover points. That's mostly killed my interest in buying anything else on WiiWare or VC.

If Apple were decent programmers, they could make this work for any of their iOS devices like any normal games platform owner.

I'm glad that you guys are not hiding the unified account feature behind this service like you hinted at before, as that seemed like a basic thing that could've, or maybe should've, built in ahead of the expansion to nearly half-dozen sites under the umbrella. I'm sure you don't want to do anything that feels like you're punishing us for not paying while being active members of multiple Whiskey Media sites due to how quickly you've grown.
 
I'd love to see unified levels being a free thing, too. Make it a Whiskey Media level that works across at least Giant Bomb and Screened, as I haven't signed up for the other sites yet to know who else may offer it.
 
I would also advise against handling special subscriber-only videos like Rooster Teeth did at one point, where not paying up meant you only had access to low-res versions of their current season videos and a rolling selection of backlog. They've since opened up so that mostly everything is visible minus some special outtakes and behind the scenes videos that are still tied to paid accounts. I also hate those stupid ad pages that GameSpot, IGN, and others have that pop up every so many pages you view that are annoying and punishing to readers that read a lot of content.

Will the players play actual football now?

MMOs would require MS to allow Silvers and Golds to subscribe to pay them a monthly fee like they did for FFXI and PSU, which MS has been soured on in the past few years with the death of their own Marvel MMO. I'm sure they'd bend over to get WoW on the Xbox 360 but they probably won't allow anything else without a large list of demands that no sensible MMO dev would agree to.
