The Game is my favourite of the two above so far. The Atari joystick print on the top brings back so many memories and looks so beautiful. It will cost more, but the whole design just leaks what real gaming is about. ^_^ Just you and the joystick. Gaming heaven. This vinyl can only be ordered from Germany, which is fine, though I've sent an email to the website to make sure they are actually alive. The site looks really lovely. You should visit and check out their other Xbox 360 skins.

Black Fusion is slightly cheaper and still very beautiful. My tray is white, so it will match the design better than having a Xbox 360 chrome tray. If I order this one, it will be shipped from the United Kingdom where I currently reside.

Anyways, hope you like what I'm planning. I got my current Wood Style 360 faceplate today, but once I get a new Vinyl/Skin I will place the original faceplate underneath first. Hope you enjoy the photos. Let me know what you think. Once I let my current one sit for a while, I started to like her more, but after looking at the other skins, I want to buy one of those for sure. Just, which one? hehe You'll see what my final choices are in Episode 2 of this blog, coming soon.

By next week, I will have successfully acquired (nice touch) my 2nd Xbox 360. Man it feels real good to be reminded that no matter how many times our 360s break down, the positives of the console always out-weigh the negatives. Kinda like Mass Effect. Frame-rate issues and texture loads gallor, it is still the best RPG I have ever played. And I didn't even get to complete it. As I was almost 70 hours in, I received the E74 Message of Doom. Here it is, in all it's glory below.

I was 1 month out of warranty anyways, so I was screwed in general. But I found myself laughing once it happened. Now that I think hard about it maybe I laughed, because I knew it lasted the warranty at least. At the time, 360s didnt have a 3 year warranty as standard. I suppose they do now! 

Why bother with 360 and not a PS3?
Yea, I suppose you might be wondering that, but it's simple.
1. I get GTA IV and all its DLC
2. It's cheaper, so I get to play my favourite game in the world sooner


Will I ever get a PS3? How about the Wii Wii?
My chances of getting a job soon are looking good, but I don't need a bigger tea stand right now! The only game I'm interested in buying on the PS3 is Gran Turismo 5. And that's a while away. Meanwhile, Forza Motorsport 3 And that's it really. I've played a few games over the years and I'm always watching trailers and stuff on Gametrailers.com and of corse Giantbomb, so I know what I want. That's it! For the first time in a while I am really happy just having a few games in my life. As for the Wii, just to confirm in blog form I don't like motion control enough to buy one again. And no, I don't want Natal.

Microsoft, Raptr & Facebook
I've recently joined a site called raptr.com. I found out about it by spying on GamerGeek360, so I thought, OK I'll give it a try. Apparently, it shares my 360 game activity with Facebook. And as you may no, Microsoft will integrate with Facebook somehow this year. I wouldn't have even created another Facebook account for my games if Micro weren't doing this. lol. I just want to prepare myself for the change. I WANNA BE THE GUY. Oh also, Raptr can scan your PC for games and upload information about when you play those etc onto Facebook. They also make this neat little chart (below), which shows what kind of a gamer you are.


So that's me to the right. I have the Nike Tick! Way cool. Though, I'll never buy Nike. Only K-Swiss, cause my feet are wide and big, like Chewbacca's. "Drdrdrdrdrrdrrdr!"

I think it means I game correctly. Nah, it's just cool to see my gaming is a tick. With all the Mass Effect temptations I've been having lately, I'm sure it will look like a vagina soon enough. oh yes.
All action, a little casual, mixed in with an RPG or two. Sounds like a vagina to me.

Well... How do we start this adventure? To few words is not enough. Too many, I dare not try. You start this journey as a species known as Quetch. Your name, Twinsen. Little Big Adventure, the most fantastic adventure game I ever played as a child. Available to play on MS-DOS and the original PlayStation. How many games now are playable on MS-DOS? How many people actually ever use it these days? Well, LBA or Little Big Adventure was my first adventure game and shall always be the greatest. I don't like doing reviews or stuff like that so don't EVER expect one! It's important to understand that, because I know as soon as someone gives their 2 cents about a game it's labeled a review by internet noobs. This is my 2 cents. If you want more, buy 50 cent. [southern accent]: Now that's Ganstga. Gyeh!

The game may seem simple to look at , but that's due to 100s of hours of complex team coding to make such a beautiful yet simply wonderful experience. Everything from the "Once upon a time"-like voice introduction, to the talking elephant citizens (called Grobos), the visual art style and the soundtrack really feels mystical and gives LBA it's own unforgettably magical Identity. Something, which to-date many games lack. Identity. Of corse, next to your Halo or Gears of War controls, it's a step backward to many. I however do not see it like that. And I know I'm not alone in my feelings. Every game has it's own learning curve and if you love adventure, once you get around the 'interesting' directional controls (improved on in the sequel LBA 2), you will not regret the experience. Escape from prison, explore towns, venture into the dessert, through snow, across the sea. And most importantly lol, Save your kidnapped lover and defeat an evil dictator? Sounds like instant joy to me!

Young gamers and old will know what I mean as I say, your very first gaming experiences are the most memorable. And now with today's technology, or rather yesterday's technology, I'll be playing through LBA again, but this time you can see and hear and comment on My Little Big Adventure.
