Just caught up on Raw.... good enough show, but it felt like an absolutely random sequence of fights. I enjoyed the Ambrose reveal (though if that had been Enzo the crowd would have exploded), but why was that the main event? Cass didn't even officially get to fight. The 6 man tag, the Zayn fight, or the Owens fight all would have made more sense to close the show. Weird!

Absolutely love both though, they're my #1 and #2 podcasts easily. However, I think I can say I look forward to the Beastcast a little more these days.

@recspec said:

Vince is an asshole and completely played HBK. And it's hilarious

"Michaels appeared as a guest on Vince Russo’s podcast and said that Vince McMahon had called him up six weeks before Mania and told him the plan for him. The idea for Austin, Michaels and Foley to lay out the League of Nations was done a long time ago and never wavered. Michaels told Vince that he was out of shape and would come out in a T-shirt. Vince told him to get in shape because he wanted him to come out in his old ring gear and that Austin and Foley would be in their gear as well. Well, Foley’s gear is what he always wears anyway. Vince told him Austin was going to be in hi gear as well. So he said he told his wife to monitor his diet and he trained twice a day for six weeks. Then when he got to Texas and saw how big Austin was, he knew Vince had fed him a line of shit, but he said by that point he was okay because he’s gotten himself into good shape and wanted to show off his physique."

Not a bad troll though - I think everyone was like "Damn! HBK looks ready to rumble!" I was seriously impressed, he looked ready to step back into the ring for real.

The last 25 minutes have been surreal, to put it mildly.

Was it really worth putting this event so late in the card for those surprise entrants? Ugh

I can't imagine talking him into that in the real world if it just results in a loss. What the fuck is the point? So stupid.

@cthomer5000: Yeah, I f'ed up and rewound and paused to grab some screenshots. :/ Now that you mention it, it's been hitching since around then. But still, I've tried closing and restarting the browser and switching over from PC to PS4 and back again and see the same issues.

Yeah it sucks. I'm not excusing it by any means, but I've just figured out at this point that the network seems to be just barely hanging in there for PPVs, especially the big ones. *shrug*

PS4 has been pretty stable. I've been afraid to touch it though. The one time I rewound like 30 seconds I had issues for a while after that.

Quality has dipped for 30-90 seconds a few times but been surprisingly stable.

Regardless of device i use for the PPVs my rule of thumb is "dont touch anything" once you actually have it working.
