People have to own their own insecurities. I'm sick of this cuddly PC-friendly worldview where because somebody else is offended by another's words or opinions, that this somehow entitles them to something. That's all.

His roommate could have been offended, or he could have found the quips rather amusing. Either way, it doesn't really matter.

Entitles them to something like, say, their own opinions? I know, how terrible for someone to call someone else out on coming into a thread on homophobia and saying "being gay is gross." But it's okay because he justified his comment by saying... he made fun of his gay roommate all the time and will make fun of gays forever. To be fair though, it's not up to him to watch if people are offended or not. Freedom of Speech. You can say and believe whatever you want (save some very minor guidelines involving imminent public safety.)

I'll admit, I don't dig the anal thing. I don't get it. It's gross and unsanitary, I don't care who you are. But to be fair, it's not like it's uncommon for dudes to do ladies in the ass, and it's not really any different from gender to gender.

I don't think he's ready to know that not every gay person has anal sex. Please don't blow his mind.

Contrary to popular belief being gay doesn't mean you're attracted to assholes. FYI women have assholes too.
