I've submitted so much stuff over the years and almost always forget it. For example the "Sonic having a brain freeze" was apparently me. I found a good template for drawing prompts is "Popular video games does something completely mundane". I think my favorite one I submitted was "Mega Man shaving".
My issue with Firewatch's ending isn't that it was unsatisfying, I like that you never met Delilah, etc, the problem is that the elaborateness of the ruse never felt justified to me. The whole point was to keep people from finding the boy's remains, but according to the timeline, the father had basically a whole year between summers to move/destroy the body or just get the heck outta dodge. Instead he decides to stay at the scene of the crime and concoct an elaborate system of false evidence to gaslight the next Firewatcher? I just don't get the logic.
Absolutely loved the video though, looking forward to more hot takeouts!
Re the spoiler - the answer is "Grief and Shame" not logic.
I loved the way the story wraps up in Firewatch. I love the government conspiracy fake-out. I think I would have really disliked or that the game wouldn't have stuck with me if it had a more expected ending.
