There's also
Bioshock 2 Shatter Blur Split/Second Napolean Total War Dragon Age Awakenings
Indie titles
Mount and Blade Warband Toki Tori Altitude Sleep is Death Love
If you look in the 2009 catalog as well (which is twice as expansive as the one I just listed), I'm sure you'll find enough games that you'll like. If you're not into the higher profile type stuff there are plenty of indie games out there, many are free or very low priced as well.
@Daawisss: Yeah I hated that QL, but I was one who requested it so I should probably be thankful. Dave needed to play the game more before doing it and Brad was ready to piss all over it before playing. It's only $20 on steam if you own another STALKER on Steam already (great price). Otherwise it's $30 (maybe too much), which is the same price as buying Clear Sky first for $10 then buying Call of Pripyat for $20. However Clear Sky isn't very good compared to Shadow of Chernobyl or CoP.
Shadow of Chernobyl usually goes on sale for $5 or less at least twice a year, and it hasn't done so all year; so it might happen any week now. Unless you're fiending for a new shooter, wait for a sale and get SoC and CoP. CoP is the best because it's much more open world. However the Complete series of mods isn't finished yet for CoP, but it's a must have download for SoC and CS.
Here's a link to a blog of a dude who had never played a Stalker game before but was trying to make a permadeath run through CoP. It'll give you an idea of what to expect as a new Stalker player diving in head first. He stopped playing after 7 chapters I guess... less than halfway through the game. I would highly recommend playing SoC before CoP though to learn the basics. Also because after finishing CoP you will want to play more Stalker and won't be as impressed by going back to the more limited, less refined scope of SoC .

Thanks man! I knew the community had to have come up with a solution by now.
" @MrKlorox: I was thinking of trying out STALKER but after I saw this quick look http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-stalker-call-of-pripyat/17-2039/ I started to doubt it. "
what were you doubting? cause it all depends on what they showed that you didn't like, it really is a great game.

No.
To Op, play Cryostasis. And you seem to want to play survival horror and 3rd person shooters on PC. WHY? Clearly using the wrong outlet for that.

Stalker Call of Pripyat came out this year and is the best in the series. You seem to like action more than RPGs, and Stalker is a lot more action than RPG.
There's also a couple of Total War games that came out recently with another coming soon.
Yeah. I shooting myself in the leg for getting a 360 over a ps3 1.5 years back. Because 6 months later I got a gaming PC and now my libaries have huge overlap. And there are about 5 Ps3 only titles I really want to play...;)
It has all the same multiplatform games from the xbox360 with the exception of alan wake lately. Not sure how you mean there aren't new games, rather you might be talking about exclusives.
Well if you have such an acquied taste, then you would do good by explaining what you counts as a good game. I'm currently playing JC2 on my PC, I heard the console version doesn't look very good. But if you want games like allen wake, just get an xbox those things are not too expensive.
" @SilentCommando: Fallout 3 and Dragon Age: Origins - these games in my opinion aren't very interesting. Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake these are the kind of games I would love to play on a PC. "
I don't like the survivor-horror genre, so I couldn't care less about Alan Wake. RDR is most definitely coming to the PC, eventually.

They don't come out as often as console games, but there are definitely some great PC games that have come out within the last few years. The Witcher and Mount & Blade are some examples. Some games on consoles are made better on the PC with mods (Fallout 3 and Dragon Age: Origins).
