Don't get me wrong 3d can be cool at the movies if its implemented properly but please keep it out of my games.  I can't ever see being able to put 8 hours straight into at game in 3d, I think by that time I would be throwing up all over the place with one of the worst migraines of my life.  Not to mention the extremely high prices of the t.v's.  I know it's all optional right now and if it stays that way then great but if it becomes mandatory to play some of the big name titles its going to have me rethinking my position on being a gamer.
