@ray_marden: I love using the motion smoothing on my TV on weird, higher framerate stuff like those old episodes of the Twilight Zone that were recorded on tape at 30 fps. Looks great and extra freaky / fun.
Glad the localization kept that Laputa line in there. Also, yeah, the dude who said that line is not a good guy and is kind of a jerk!

@icf_19xx:I think they were alluding to the lawsuit Huey Lewis filed (which was then settled) over "Ghostbusters" ripping off "I Want a New Drug." So yeah, he would be getting some $$$ every time that song is played.
@huckleberrysassacre: Some of those games (Eternal Fighter Zero, the OG Melty Blood) are actually fan circle made doujin games too. When you come at it from the "super fans that are making a fighter and just throw characters they already know in there" angle it makes a little more sense.
What's weirder to me is when all of the adult scenes are cut from those hentai visual novels, and then they're just A-OK to release on consoles. It's weird I tells ya
