There are 51 other weeks in the year where I can hear them recap games, putting it in the GOTY podcasts just takes up time that could go to more categories.
A really cool feature that they didn't mention is that this has asynchronous online multiplayer, as in you and your opponent can take your turns whenever you want, leave, come back at another time, and take your next turn at your leisure.
As someone who is pretty casual these days, I like this expansion a lot more than the last one. In Legion you were flying around in spaceships fighting titans. This one feels like a more traditional grounded fantasy game. The zones are great, the music is always great, and I enjoy the quests.
This seems like one of those games where you have the game on one monitor and a wiki page open on the other, like Terraria and Don't Starve. I love these types of games.
They didn't bring up the assist system in Celeste when talking about it. I think that's an important feature in that game to help more casual players enjoy it.
