I'm sorry for posting this stupid thread, it seemed like a good idea in my head, but in reality, it's not.

Maybe you're right. I don't know what I'm talking about. It's an idea I have for a book though.

Fuck that. I'm not paying to keep a person around for nothing in return. "

No, I expect the families of the now vegetable people to take care of their vegetables, not us tax payers. Just drop the body off with the family, they can do whatever.

Edit: Wrong thread, sorry.

Yes, because some day in the future, they may find a cure for brain damage.

You can just get their heart beating again, it may take a long time, and their brain may be damaged/dysfunctional, but you really can bring them back to life. We should do this. If you get sliced in half, they'll repair your body back up, and then revive you. Albeit, most people will suffer brain damage or brain death, but still, I think we should save everyone. I believe it's possible, if we try hard enough. If someone has a brain aneurysm and dies, you just fix the problem, and then get their heart going again. Of course this may eventually lead to overpopulation, but hopefully we will have colonized other planets before overpopulation actually becomes a problem. What do you think of my idea? "
No offense but how old are you. That is not how the world works. Sadly it works on money. To support people who are in a coma state takes money. And most family do not have the money and more often do not want to see a loved one in that state.   Doctors do not "Give up" But some people have requests to not be brought back. Plus the heart can not all ways bee brought back. You need to read up on the human body.  "
Just like drop off their brain dead body with the family, let them do whatever with it.

I'm not trolling, I'm saying what I believe in.

What's so funny? I mean, I don't know what I'm talking about, but if I did, I would still want this to happen.

Like if you're frozen in a block of ice, you're not truly dead in my opinion. But if you're just like frozen on the side of a mountain, but not in a block of ice, then you're dead in my opinion.
