Casting issue, On Sony Android TV which has a Chromecast built in.
so whenever I cast, it seems to use the current volume of the video in the browser (which 100% by default), as the value that the volume gets set when the 'Cast' get initialized.
This is fine on a normal chromecast plugged into an hdmi slot, as the Chromecast's volume is independent to the TV's Volume (kinda like having your phone plugged into a speaker). Having the Chromecast volume set to 100 is fine then, as the TV might be set to 15 or something and it will still only go that loud. (I've tested this on a chromecast in another room)
My problem is there is no separate volumes with the built-in Chromecast, The volume of the chromecast IS the volume of the TV. So if i cast a video the volume defaults to 100 on the TV and absolutely blasts out my speakers. (Nothing puts the fear of god into you more than hearing a noise about 70 times louder than you expected and the resulting panic looking for the remote)
I've had to start turning off my external speakers, cast the video, I see my TV's volume shoot up to 100 hundred, I then turn my volume down to 10 or so, then restart my speakers.
it's probably a niche enough use case, but i have seen Youtube and netflix use a different default volume value when interacting with a regular chromecast and a built-in chromecast
