If it makes sense business wise it'll happen. If it doesn't it won't. I hate to break this to everyone constantly but publishers and developers do things for money. Sure you'll buy it but trying to seek a HUGE western audience to justify the incredible task of translating somethings like that is unlikely to happen.
Don't forget we only got heroes as a way of testing to see if that product even means anything over here anymore
I'm going to say I probably enjoyed this movie more than most people because I recognize that all of the Star Wats movies are incredibly formulaic and similar. Star Wars is a great setting filled with fantastic charavters but not necessarily consisting of the most complex to plot. Also I feel like the interpretation of Ren most people have is incredibly off. He's not some powerful sith yet but he needs to act like he is for The First Order and his master because it's how he stays in power. Hes still training and learning. Hell we even see multiple scenes where he's not filled only with self doubt about his path but also his skill. Sure he's great at weilding the force but it's in his blood.
Also can we stop pretending Lightsabers have solid lore in anyway? I mean Jesus they're heavy and in one film and light as a feather the next.
Love it. I think a lot of the "better than thou" attitude people get from it is mostly from the community. Similar to how The Witcher 3 is a pretty great game despite the obnoxious attitude of that game's following.
Final Fantasy 14 is probably the best mmo to come out since World of Warcraft. It's combat is engaging, being able to do literally everything on one character rocks, everything feels like it has a lot of time put into it, the lore is fleshed out, the dungeons are fun, end game progression stuff is broken out into so many different paths everyone has something to do, the story gets really good after finishing the base Realm Reborn quests, it actually cares about it's leveling experience. My only gripes would be some of the voice acting, some of the slogs during leveling, bad pvp, and some under tuned classes. If you like traditional style mmos give it a go. I fell of the mmo train pretty hard but FF brought me back in a big way.
By that I mean I enjoy engaging the system. I don't get anything for the rest of the game but it doesn't really matter to me because I enjoy that closed loop.
