About 11 hours in, just got sent to the good neighborhood. Have some thoughts:
1st time I've ever been really deeply interested in the main plot of a Bethesda game. I think all of the good voiceacting really sells it.
I don't mind the dialogue wheel but wish it had more options for getting more information. Kind of like the branching question trees in Mass Effect
Shooting is better. I have to actually move and take cover as opposed to standing still and just shooting.
Leveling up is intimidating but I like the system. It's like a less restricted version of Skyrim's
I don't understand the armor system
I enjoy doing the settlement stuff but don't really know to what end it serves.
In summary I'm liking it more than New Vegas, which in my opinion was pretty meh till you actually got to Vegas like 20 hours in. Still too early to say if I like it more or less than 3.
It's still a great game but man did Witcher 3 bum me out. I've never lost interest quicker in a game than suffering through the Novigrad quests looking for Dandelion. Such a fantastic start, such a disappointing 2nd chapter.
