Hmm... well I like ATI recently, but since you have an Nvidia motherboard, I say go for the GTX 260 as your graphic card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121257 It'll perform very well. Will max out pretty much everything except Crysis. If you're playing Crysis at that resolution, it'll go on high for sure, not too sure about very high though tbh. :(
In terms of PSU, I'm not too good with them, I'll let someone else answer that. XD I'd go for one with about 850W if you are planning to SLI (just make sure it has 4 6-pin connectors). Here's one I found quickly but in the Reviews one guy said he had a motherboard compatibility problem so just check if your motherboard is compatible somehow: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256007
To answer your 5 questions: 1. GTX 260. 2. At 1024x768 you would most likely get very high yes (at the VERY minimum you would get high). You might need to sli to get the higher resolutions. 3. I'm not sure about your motherboard, I had a hard time finding out anything about it. Do you know if it has a PCI-Express x16 slot? If it does, a GTX 260 will fit. It needs 2 of those slots to SLI. But ya I couldn't find anything about the motherboard you posted. :( 4. PSU above, but again just make sure it is compatible. 5. I'm not really sure about brand. It's just different companies that are making the cards. They'd have different policies like warrantees but in the end it is around the same card.
I'd wait for the 4870x2. Comes out August 12. I'm counting down the days. :) It's gunna be a SWEET card, I expect heavy domination of Crysis, Rage, and Doom 4. :)
Runs on low on my laptop at good FPS, or kind of clunky FPS on medium (15-20 maybe), so I uninstalled it, I'm just gunna wait till I build my new one before playing through it, I realize it's not "all about graphics", but to me the game is MEANT to be played on high.
