@av_gamer: Yeah I just think they're rubbish. I skip most of them unless the wiki points out it has something notable in it. Elden Ring's exploration is at it's best for me when I'm just coming across weird stuff, like the first time I fought a troll knight, or came across a tower that almost instantly killed me, even non-interactive stuff like finding strange giant faces. Finding another stitched together dungeon not so much. That's the same reason I disliked Breath of the Wild where the dungeons felt like chores.
I agree with @jimbot that the underground strikes the right balance between feeling open and being dense with stuff. It's gorgeous and is my favourite area in the game, though Raya Lucaria and Leyndell are up there too.
@jimbot: I haven't been doing a whole lot of side content but I've found the same prefab dungeon room where there's an imp in the middle of the room and another imp jumps at you from the right side like 3 times now. Definitely makes it feel like filler.
@castiel: In that same part, Jess mentioned that she felt like she'd be annoying if she was constantly harping on with Silent Hill trivia. I get that, but I also don't give a shit about wrestling and the lads go on about that all the time so I reckon Jess shouldn't worry about it being perceived as annoying. I don't find it annoying when they're talking wrestling, either, if anything it's kind of interesting in a way to hear people talk passionately about something I don't care about.
