Definitely sounds like PAX is more my speed, I had the realization that I could go and knew just the people to ask :) . Thank you each for the great responses! This is my first "actual" post on the forums :3, thanks for being so friendly everybody.
I wouldn't consider myself a writer or a professional game developer but I'm going to be in SF during the GDC Expo (March 4-6).
Is this worth attending mainly to see new games ?
Could I attend the GDC Expo and walk around playing all the games and not feel like I was bothering others because I wasn't there for a professional venture (necessarily) and have a good time?
I don't understand why strangers having a disregard for their unknown identity is terrifying. If I was a "ghost" on a street I would interact with everything I could to provoke a response. This site and it's demeanor towards these completely bogus issues is why I immediately subscribed. I'm really happy to see a united response about this. I'm glad the Giant Bomb staff has so many connections to developers and they've always remained aware of the community they're in.
But can we get back to developer interviews, WORLD GREATEST comedy and...video games?
