@monkeyman04: Oh damn. I did a quick search ("ban" in this forum) and I quickly concluded that the topic had not been made yet

fix soon apparently so this topic would be better off closed I think!

I'm afraid to test it out on someone--I'm hoping it just throws an error related to my account not having the required permissions to perform that action, but I figure I'd bring this to someone's attention in case that shouldn't be there.

I found out about this post today after $175 of Facebook gift cards were purchased on my Amazon account last week (a 5 minute phone call resolved all that, immediately changed all relevant passwords and enabled 2-step auth). I checked my browser history and, of course, there were a bunch of poor attempts at other purchases.

This was the kick in the balls I needed to properly use a password manager and actually be secure. Stay safe, duders!

@giromindtricks: @mike: Huh! I'll have to give it another shot. Autorecording didn't work on borderless, but I didn't try manually yet. I also haven't tried relaunching the game after changing video options, so I'll see how that works for me tomorrow.

Update: For some reason, ShadowPlay works fine now. I can upload video proof if anyone wants it, but it's going to take awhile because it's a ~270MB MP4 and my upload is about 0.6-0.8 mbps, so it'l be a hot minute. Fullscreen and autorecord/Alt + F10 functionality.

@giromindtricks: So the weird thing is that there are a handful of videos of ShadowPlay working, but it's very possible that the uploaders cropped their videos...

When you say start the recording, you mean manually through Alt + F9 (default binding)? That's the one thing I didn't try yet, unfortunately.

@giromindtricks: I'm not, actually, as shown by the video I posted. Edit: was in response to assumption that I was using AMD's version of shadowplay

@rinsatori: I don't think so, but it's worth a shot. I'm updated to the latest stable release (May 23rd, I think?)

Loading Video...

I have no idea why. Is it my AMD CPU? I clearly have desktop capture enabled, but it seems to only grab any video if I'm not in fullscreen... Any ideas? Anyone else got it working?

@oursin_360: the same status effects apply, so yes, pumping points into adaptability (attunement also increases agility, though not as substantial) until your agility hits 99 (105 was preferable for me, 13 iFrames helped a lot) is also a very good idea.

@sweetz: Parrying definitely feels different this time around. The only enemies I really spent any time parrying, for what it's worth, are the Pursuer, the sword-wielding Heide Knights, and a very particular Havel dude in the late game. Their attacks are slow enough that I can react accordingly. For everyone else, it was dodge city!

Also, I don't know if this is the case in Dark Souls II, but in III, the Caestus doesn't have more parry frames than other weapons--but its startup is incredibly fast, allowing you to begin your parry almost the moment you get hit, and still be successful.
