It's nice to see Doom getting the respect it deserves from the GB community. Hitman is an amazing game, but Doom just blew everything else out of the water for me last year.
Also nice to see Dark Souls 3 getting some love. I honestly thought that game was a seriously overlooked in the main deliberations.
I'd also like to give a shout out to the other 32 people who voted for Killing Floor 2. You all have fine taste.
Edit: The knives remained firmly sheathed. No bloodletting, no arguments, no cutting. This isn't the Giant Bomb GOTY discussions I've come to know and love !.
Hopefully this will encourage more folks to engage with PC builds or even just upgrading. It was nice to hear Brad talk about how he managed to catch his t-shirt on one of the slots and bent the teeth. Stuff like that happens to the best of us. Give it a go. A person who has never made a mistake, never tried anything themselves.
From what I've played of the War Stories (Campaign) so far, they really just feel like training missions for the Multiplayer. Some even go so far as to have control points you need to capture and hold. Sound familiar ?. Not saying it's necessarily a bad thing, but they do feel a little thin. Both in terms of story telling and gameplay. As with all Battlefield games though, MP is where it's at. The maps are fantastic and it really looks gorgeous. The weapons are taking a little bit of time to get used to, which is fun. The only down side I've noticed so far is that the net code is a little funky. But that was the same for both BF3 and BF4 at launch.
I wish Gearbox would make another Brothers in Arms game.

Yeah, I'm sure I read somewhere that it's still in pre-production, although that was a few months ago now. Lets hope they push ahead with it and do the series justice.
Always got the impression the Brothers in Arms games were Randy own special project. Let's hope we hear something eventually, that said I'm also super excited to see what they do with Borderlands next.
Yeah, me too. I wonder if they will push ahead with the whole "Borderworlds" idea. I've not heard anymore about it, but it sounded really promising.

Between this and Doom, it's been an amazing year for old franchises being refreshed and relaunched. SW 2013 was a great game, but this is another step up. With Quake Champions in development, what other classics would you like to see relaunched. Blood, maybe ?.
