I love videogames, and back in the day I had my fair share of violent videogames with a rating way above my age. So this next thing will be a bit hypocritical but whatever:

I have a kid now, and I will not let him play games rated above his age, so I pretty much agree with this law since there are parents who, unlike me, don't give a shit about what their kids are playing/watching. And maybe with a law like this, at least they wouldn't get the rated material that easily (be it porn, music or whatever).

As I said, my parents didn't really give a shit about my uprising. If it meant that I would be off their backs, they didn't care what I did, and I gotta say It did kinda fuck me up. But that is debatable, the point is the content is only intended for mature audiences, and enforcing that premise doesn't fuck with anyone's creative vision, so i dont think this is such a big deal.

It's not so much that steam is awesome (which it is), but more that EA has a history of doing bullshit digital stores in the past. Stuff like "If you want us to 'hold' your digital copy indefinitely, you need to give us more money, else you have to download it in the next 3 months and its gone forever".

I haven't checked their new store, and I don't plan on doing so.

Also, don't immediately engage when you're EMPd
You'll be amazed at how fast those shields regen, as long as you're not "in combat". If you get EMPd too hard, just back away and don't engage until later.
It all comes down to micro at the end.

What should really happen is blizzard adding some achievement APIs for whole Battle.net accounts, not just per game, as with WoW and SC2.
That way it will be easy for sites like GiantBomb to track the achievements for all Battle.net games (Starcraft, Warcraft and Diablo). by just syncing with a battle.net account. Im surprised it doesn't work like that yet.
