@drewbert The second driver to crash into the harbour was Paul Hawkins in 1965. Also Clay Regazzoni crashed there in 1968 but the roll-bar on his car caught the barrier and stopped him from going in the water. He only survived the crash by ducking down as his car went under the Armco.
