Disappointing 0

Growing up on Fighting Fantasy gamebooks and other choose-your-own adventures, interactive narratives have always been my favorite thing about video games. Player agency and choices having an actual impact on the world of the game. So when I saw Erica on the Playstation store, it was an instant purchase for me; I'll take as many of these games as I can get. Donut Create Push 0

Allow me to fall into the trap of talking about what this game isn't.I had high hopes for Donut County, a Katamari-style game where you control a hole that grows as things fall into it. Only, it's not done in the style of Katamari at all, not really. It's more of a puzzle game with Katamari trappings. I won't say it's the Forrest Gump of Assassin's Creed games, but it touches on so many different storylines that it improves o...

Historical Value Only 0

I'll preface my review by saying that I don't usually continue playing many games I find difficult and don't get much enjoyment out of throwing myself against a game until I beat it. However, the fact remains that Saints Row is one of the most difficult games I've ever played. Or, at least, it felt that way. It's not even because of what it's asking you to do, but how it asks you to do it. The game has terrible checkpointing with very few missions even having any checkpoints mid-mission. Most of...
