I gave it the "Austin Walker 2 Hour Challenge", and it didn't stick. I appreciate what it's doing, but nothing about it is for me personally. That's fine though, and I'm glad a smaller team was able to find success and make something cool.

One that I haven’t seen mentioned here is A Plague Tale: Innocence. The gameplay is very scripted and not great but the story owns and I think Alex completed it. It’s worth seeing through even if it’s only mentioned by one or two crew members during the podcasts imo.

It's on my radar for sure, but I've got a lot to play right now. Will try to get into it around the holidays, it sounds great from everything I've heard. Austin seemed pretty apprehensive about it on the latest WPR but he only played two hours I think. Most other impressions and reviews are glowingly positive.

I thought it was way too long and kinda boring, but a few scenes made it worth a watch. Pretty forgettable overall, though Phoenix did a great job in the role. The fact that this is the movie stirring up any controversy is somewhat pathetic, it's not worth getting worked up over at all. Just a retread of a concept that has been done better, with a Joker reskin.

Give me an 80 minute version of this and I might watch it again though. The violent bits were pretty cool and there was good usage of licensed music. Also appreciated the anti-capitalist themes, showing how marginalized folks are shit on and neglected under capitalism. Thomas Wayne can get fucked.

Saw the news last week and I'm super happy that he's able to take a break. Dude was overworking himself from the sound of it. Waypoint in general has been losing so many people, it's been sad to see the crew kinda break apart. Those streams they used to do when Danika was still around were GOAT tier content. But hopefully this means he can do more fun stuff, maybe pop in around these parts when Kerbal 2 comes out?

And obviously I'll follow Danielle's work wherever she goes, love her perspective on games too. WPR just hasn't been the same since Natalie left and Danielle had to take a step back. I'll keep listening though since the crew that is still there are good folk.

No one's said Risk of Rain 2 yet? It's still in early access but I love the take of a fully 3D, third person shooter roguelike. The characters are all fun and play differently, and the stage design is great. You get to know all the different map layouts over time and can more effectively traverse them, but it doesn't get stale either. Can't wait for it to hit 1.0 and see what they add to it.

Kevin Conroy really made me like the character of Batman in the first place, so he's my answer. But I think Christian Bale and Michael Keaton both did a great job with the role. And Ben Affleck had the most wasted potential of them all. He could've been amazing with a better director at the helm.

I've cared about politics since I was 12, and 9/11 happened. So yeah, I'm 30 too and living through the Bush era and all the craziness of that time got me pretty invested in the state of things in the country. I don't go out of my way to talk politics with every single person I interact with, but it's important to have values and stick by them. My immediate family was also really willing to discuss politics since I was very young too, which might have something to do with it. We disagreed a lot, but there were a lot of good talks I had with them that helped me solidify my feelings on political stuff.

I have to reject the idea that caring about politics is *just* tribalism too. Maybe for some people that's part of it but also maybe people have actual opinions on important things? That would also suggest that the left and the right are monolithic in nature, when there's a whole political spectrum and people disagreeing with others on the same "side" all the damn time. It's not Coke v Pepsi here.

I keep meaning to play more Hitman so this'll be a good reason to reinstall it. And yeah the bank map was awesome so hopefully this'll be a real banger too.

Sounds like it isn’t a must buy right out of the gate, but I’ll pick it up on sale or when it comes to steam. Hopefully by then it’ll be a smoother experience and there will be dlc. Plus I lost my regular BL play group to WoW classic for now lol, which I want no part of.

Also wish they’d maybe just tried another style of humor? Hearing that it’s the same shit from BL2 is a bummer, the writing was the worst part of that game.
