Hey, I would love it if you guys could recommend me some shows. I saw so far: That 70's show, Futurama, Southpark, Family guy, The Office, Arrested Development, Dragonball all to the end. Naruto to episode 135 or when it gets bad, dont remember, Big Bang Theory the first two seasons then it started to become really bad. Well, I'm looking for a new show. I thought about watching Mad Men. Any recommendations?

Im not sure if your meaning shows which are still being made but my standard answer is "Red Dwarf" and it always will be...

Dexter if you haven't seen it. It's a fantastic show and the 5th season is happening somewhat soon. By the time you watch all the earlier episodes, the new season will be starting up.

Look interesting I'm checking that one out right now! I use to watch shows when eating ;).

X-Files, Deadwood and Rome are a couple I can think of off the top of my head if your not worried about them being current programs.

Veronica Mars is a great great show, it's cleverly written, the acting is good and even though the first season is the best, the second and the third and final season is really good as well. Veronica Mars is one of my favorite TV shows ever, it just hits all the right "notes" it's funny, exciting, and so far. I've also heard great things about Dexter, I haven't watched it myself but I've loaned the first to season from my friend, so I'll begin to watch that soon, that might be a good idea? Finally. Chuck is a great comedy show which I recommend as well. But try to watch Veronica Mars, it's fantastic!

Well, thanks for all the great recommendations. Dexter I saw I think 1 and a half episodes but I'm not entirely convinced since I prefer easy going things when watching series, but a lot of my friends like it so I should give it a try.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, really great show, i highly recommend it if you haven't watched it yet.

I watched like 10 episodes of "It's always sunny in Philadelphia" but I couldn't really get into it. But thanks.

Modern Family. 30 Rock. American Dad. Entourage. 
If you like anime - Macross Frontier. 
If you want something to get your teeth into for a long time - Sopranos or Lost.

True Blood. Can't beat genuine southern gothic flair.

Psych. Burn Notice. Community. Testees. 

Twin Peaks for sure.

You can't go wrong with anything by HBO, like Band of Brothers, Big Love, Flight of the Conchords. But Six Feet Under in particular is life changing.
 
Also, Weeds and Breaking Bad both explore similar themes albeit in different tones and are essential viewing.

If you want something besides comedies watch Breaking Bad.  It' the best show on tv.  I've actually heard a few people say the best tv show of all time, and I wouldn't really argue that.

The Sopranos...The Wire.....True Blood.....Mad Men...Breaking Bad.....Dexter.....Sons of Anarchy  ( I thought it sucked at first...until I realized what the show actually was the I was like OMG then I freaking loved it)..... 
 
 
 
@ArchScabby: No, The Wire probably takes that honor.  Until Breaking Bad ends and you can reflect on the entire arc of the series you just can't say that.   The Sopranos is up there, but the last seasons were just so bad that it can't take that crown.

The new series of Doctor Who that just ended possibly?  I had never seen any of the previous seasons of the show but i've always heard about and after the first two episodes i was hooked!
