@eduardo: I got the same GPU Jeff did, and a 6600K that I OCed to 3.8GHZ right away. I have an EVO 212 cooler on there, and have the whole thing on a 650w PSU. I think the most I have ever drawn out of that power supply, even at max load, is about 450 watts. People just seem to think you need way more power than you actually do, even as power requirements for more and more powerful cards has gone down.
Well, from what I understand, PSUs used to come with real and "fake" Watt counts, so I guess some people still think they need bigger numbers just in case. Mine runs fine too with a 600!
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 16gb DDR4(Don't know the frequency)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V.2
PSU: EVGA Supernova 850GS
SSD: Western Digital WD Blue 1TB
Case:Fractal Design Define R5 Black
GPU: GTX 1080 Founders Edition
M.2 SSD : 1TB M.2 Intel 540
Man, I mentioned this in the chat, but seeing it all laid out, he really overspent on that PSU. And especially after all of the trouble he had setting it up, that watercooler was a bit over the top, too.
I was totally gonna go for water cooling like Jeff did, but then person who helped me put my new PC together said it was overkill. That's the main reason I went with him, for his honesty and not trying to oversell me an expensive component. That and the PSU. Then again, PC parts are much cheaper in the U.S than where I live! My PC runs beautifully, practically everything else is like Jeff's, expect for the GPU, which is a generation older.
There was a game made by IO/Squeenix called Freedom Fighters years ago (there's a quicklook of some sort on the site). The four targets in this mission are apparently the four main characters from a game that sorta did okay but never really got a sequel.
Actually Freedom Fighters were published by EA, who owns the rights to the IP. So even if they wanted to, IO can never make a sequel, but they keep putting in little references to it in their other games.
Pretty sure the video game the two guys are watching on TV is Freedom Fighters, but I'm gonna have to check again. Would make sense as a really neat Easter egg. =)
Also, yeah, I was also a little disappointed by not being able to nab the costume off of Ezra (the Michael Myers-y dude). Then again, it'd be way too convenient and really easy to obtain and just break the level.
No, it's Kane and Lynch 2. As I mentioned above IO/Squeenix do not own the right to Freedom Fighters. Although in some ways the Kane and Lynch games are sort of a spiritual sequel to FF.
Oh, gotcha. Glad I didn't stare too long at it, then!

@blackblade500: Yeah, once you discover that you're not the only one going through those problems, it makes it much easier to figure things out, as with most things in life. Best of luck! ;)
