@ZombiePie: He "stopped" aging at 15. He's fifteen in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, I think, and I'm sure he was fifteen Sonic Adventure 2. Read your manuals, kids!
It's worth considering whether the industry today exercises more restraint than the expiremental industry back then. I certainly feel more at home with retro games. Great, great post, Padawan.
It's a short story by Nabakov, not whos-it-whatever. (Although it should be noted that whos-it-whatever's writing is on occasion funny, after the side-splitting fashion.)
