When it comes to art, the line between brilliance and stupidity is frequently non-existant.

FIFA & COD have both been priced at $70 and are as casual as they come, neither have gotten any backlash. Both consoles are still instantly selling out and driving next gen titles instantly back into the charts, with that $70 price tag.

To be fair, FIFA still offered a free last-gen upgrade. So I don't think anybody actually bought the stand-alone PS5/Series versions. Especially when it was on sale when the PS5/Series versions came out.

"Hmm, I could spend $/£70 on the stand-alone PS5/Series versions, or I could spend $/£30, and get both the last-gen and current-gen versions. I don't know what to pick!"

Licky Boom Boom Pow: 50B-S4N-TDF

Lot of tricky spin-jumps in this level, but I try to teach the tricks needed and there’s fairly generous checkpointing, so it should be doable.

Right now my favourite late night host is Seth Meyers. I think he's got the right balance of funny jokes and insightful political commentary. I like John Oliver, for instance, but he's not necessarily that funny.

Plus, Seth is the kind of host who's always seems like he's having a ton of fun doing what he does. His interviews do tend to be a bit dull, though.

Because it's a really fun and well-balanced game that's approachable but still has a high skill ceiling.

I've seen the term "soft launch" thrown about - the idea being that Nintendo basically just put this thing out the door semi-quietly with a bare bones feature set so that when it's holiday time they've got a solid, built up library.

And I will say, for as barebones as it really is, it works incredibly well. Moving in/out of the dock is slick, the OS is impressively fast, the pro controller is overpriced but lovely, and even the Joycon stuff is cooler than I thought it'd be. I also think the battery's actually not bad if you don't play games like Zelda.

Nintendo's gonna need to work on accessory pricing, but I think the switch has a lot of potential to be something pretty special.

@damodar: I love me some metal slug, but the problem with 3 is that if you don't impose continue limits it's a complete cakewalk, and if you do it's one of the hardest games ever, with no real middle ground in between. Besides, I don't think hour long videos are necessarily suited for this series.
