To echo most others thoughts on this - yes Fish can be a dick, but still generally a somewhat likeable one, and more importantly one who we know for a fact worked his ass off for a long damn time and earned a lot of respect considering the amount of personal abuse he's taken throughout.
Whereas this Beer guy (and yes, 'Annoyed Gamer' would have been a god awful derivative online identity in 2005, nevermind today) comes across as just a massive wanker spewing largely baseless personal insults simply because someone made the mistake of giving him a platform to do so.
Never really leads to much of anything other than conflict in my experience, so no, I want my GB as untainted by outside world bullshit as possible. (Except, of course, for on the Bombcast, where they can talk about literally anything and make it entertaining.)
Seems like the only time you ever hear about this Joe guy is when he's being a dick like this and then starts an uproar about it. Whatever, he's annoying as hell.
Is this your first generation being a gamer or something? This has been the way of things for as long as I've been alive, we're used to it. At least there are other territories that have it even worse like (from what I hear) Australia.
Seems like you deserved it. The way Polygon operates is so weird in general though, what's up with a proper staff member actually taking the time to have lengthy conversations with random forumers =/
Totally...I haven't even brought myself to finish Bioshock Infinite yet...and as far as I can tell the ending must be the only reason everybody says that game is awesome.
