Yeah, the sidequests are for the robot and "the game isn't hard" so skip them and don't let the semi-open world part be a net negative. But also don't die a bunch and say upgrading Jack is useless.
Upgrading stim especially is really useful. Temporary invincibility would have helped in this QL.
Quantum Break had powers where you could be more in the mix during combat. It was also not "Call of Duty style." The game had a damn bubble shield and people are still acting like the cover was mandatory.
I liked CD 2, even with the ugly underground areas you had to clear out and it being the same city.
Though that game did have a couple of things this one doesn't, this is more of a sequel to the first game. Besides the transforming vehicles, which only the first game has, inexplicably.
As far as the campaign goes, no transforming is the only thing bumming me out with all of the videos I have watched before playing the game.
Not much has changed since Horizon 1, racing games are still less-than because of the genre. I vaguely remember Jeff and Ryan agreeing about that during GOTY time.
When Jeff said it was only Brad and Rorie this Friday I got excited but Brad made it seem like he wasn't even going to come in that day and stream from home instead.
@zachbrown83: This is about the list, there are so many other ways for you to figure out what to buy. Not like this is anything new anyways. With way less people in the deliberations, pretty much all they said about Horizon 1 was that it's "just a racing game" before leaving it out of the Top 10.
It seems like, from watching this and playing with my friends, it's better to restart from wave 1 instead of playing wave 50 with nothing. If there was an option to start from wave 40, 30, 20 that would improve the experience.
The part in the Horde lobby than says Wave: 1 can be changed and you can start from any wave.
