I finished episode 5 last night and I have been collecting my thoughts on it. I loved the journey that I had with this game. I laughed. I cried. I bonded with Max and Chloe. And this game was a bonding experience for my boyfriend and I so it will always have a place in my heart for that. I think this game is amazing. The art style is beautiful. The music is amazing. The story is well done, even if some of the dialogue is horrendous (I work with teenagers. They don't speak like that. At least they don't in Australia). Its definitely up there as one of my GOTY.
Here are my choices.
David didn't get a scar during the fight. I have no idea how I did this.
David killed Jefferson. I told him the truth about Chloe. I thought he had the right to know. She is his step daughter. Didn't think that was going to lead him to kill Jefferson.
I didn't save the trucker or Evan. I didn't know you could save the trucker. As for Evan, I accidentally hit rewind after I saved him and was too far away to go back and save him in time.
I saved Alyssa and the fisherman.
I helped Joyce believe in David. The dude had just saved my life and talked about how much he cared about Joyce and Chloe. I believed him.
I told the truth to Frank about Rachel. I told him everything, including that she overdosed. I thought he had the right to know that she was dead and that he is partly responsible.
I kissed Warren. I just felt right for me.
I sacrificed Chloe. Well actually I didn't. I was too emotional to make a choice. Maybe because in my head I was already grieving Chloe but I didn't want to be selfish and sacrifice an entire town for one person. I had spent all this time trying to save everyone I could. I didn't want to let go of Chloe but I didn't want the rest of the town to be destroyed . Because I was crying my boyfriend came over to give me a hug and he pressed the button to sacrifice Chloe. I think he knew that's what I was heading towards but I couldn't bring myself to press the button.
The last thing I watched was Into the Woods. I really enjoyed it. But I'm also a massive musical theatre fan, so much so that I have a degree in musical theatre performance and I am a massive Sondheim so of course I'm going to enjoy the movie of a Sondheim musical. I had a lot of fun with it. The performances are great. All the actors can sing (Thank God!). The story is interesting. The production was good. Its a good movie. 3/5
I had my top 2 removed last year. Only had a local anaesthetic so I was awake the whole time, but I was also on valium to keep me calm. The procedure wasn't painful, it was more the noise of scraping metal on bone that got me.
