The more I think about it, the more this whole thing stinks of bullshit, but GB puts out some pretty fucking good content, so whatever. They deserve to get some money out of us, even if it does taste a bit dishonest.
Ha! I just subscribed today after hearing about the whole monetization thing earlier in the week. I had no idea they'd decided to keep the Bombcast free and was wondering about how they were going to handle the logistics of a separate iTunes subscription for subscribers, or people having to download the 'premium' version of the 'cast from the website every week.
Oh well... I guess I'll make the most out of the HTML5 mobile site for a few months instead.
