I got to level 40 or so and bounced, wasn't having much fun. I like Diablo 3 just fine but those same combat mechanics and assets shoved into a mobile game a decade later is just not something I am going to put any serious time into, even if it didn't take 6 figures to max out your character.

I guess it got me to play PoE again?

Would like to throw in my two cents if it will genuinely help the site. Been here a long time, subscriber since 2012 and watcher since damn close to the beginning. I tend to agree that we are in a bit of a drought content wise. I usually listen to the podcast, usually watch UPF. I want to watch the Silent Hill stuff but ongoing complete game playthroughs are just not what I'm looking for right now. I will likely go through them at some point that being said. Arcade pit is great, and I'm super happy you're working with them, but it feels ancillary given the primary showrunners aren't a part of the site. I like the music podcast in theory but I just don't really have the time to earnestly listen to it.

I'll also say in general I'm not quite as down on the site as a lot of people seem to be. I still get a lot of value out of the archive, and there's no one involved personality wise I think is a bad fit or dragging anything down. Jess has been a great addition; love the perspective she brings and that it's relatable and still unique to the rest of the team, and Jan has come into his own in a major way since taking a more prominent role in front of the camera.

I think I feel like what has been lacking is some amount of "gaming MST3K" with whatever combination of you. You're all funny and play off each other well and I think some amount of """low effort""" content like game tapes and demo derby is really what I've been missing. It's not for the reactions or anything per se, but more for the discussion it inspires among you and the jokes that come along with it. It's relaxing and cozy and I can go back to it repeatedly because I can just listen to y'all talk over whatever.

@nodima: I'm specifically talking about the summoning through the bell, the wolves were able to distract margit/godrick enough for me to get some whacks in before dodging/backing off when their attention turned to me. Their actual damage output is minimal but the distraction is invaluable for as long as they're out. I haven't done much in the way of summoning other human players.

The bosses definitely feel overall harder but there are also tons of new tools to use for the player that can make them a lot easier, summons in particular. I definitely abused the fuck out of the wolves for both the Margit and Godrick fights.

One boss in particular (Radahn) is the only one so far I raise my eyebrow at design wise.

I'm some white guy and I default to a cool lady with short hair but also have been known to randomize until I get something cool and also will play a male character from time to time.

Been having a great time with it, I loved Horizon 4 and fairly recently bought and devoured the dlc content, so like Jeff had been saying I have been a little scared that I would bounce off it but the open world is compelling enough that I've been having a great time exploring and doing races.

I'll drink tap whenever I can, New York has some pretty great tap water.
