I'm actually surprised that it took the console industry up 'till now to introduce CDKEYs. EA is just the first, and it only affect multiplayer right now, just wait few years, you'll have to type the key before you even get into the game and this will be required from all publishers. That said, as a PC gamer, I'm used to this and don't have any problems with that, but I see there might be some upset people.   
 
Truth is, with this, the console piracy will skyrocket.

There's missing quite a lot of developer houses old and new in the likes of Broderbund (Prince of Persia), Digital Integration (AH-64, Hind), and all the mentioned above already, but it's nice sheet anyway.
