Ever since the new site update my streaming is pretty much broke or much worse then before. I have to reload the page 3-4 times just to get the video to start. I used to be able to stream at HD but now I have to set it to Auto and it always defaults to the lowest bitrate. I am using Firefox/Chrome on a windows 10 PC and Chrome on an iPad. Its not as bad on the iPad but still worse than before.
Same here. I have to switch to Youtube player to get it to work, and that doesn't always help. I literally cannot watch any new content, no matter the browser or adblocker on/off.
I strongly encourage anyone who is curious about VR (and has the means) to get the Gear VR. It's an absolutely fantastic experience. I expected little more than Cardboard, and I am completely blown away by what I've seen so far. Even more excited for the "real" headsets coming out, but honestly, I'm just thrilled with the Gear. I am positive my friends are annoyed by me not shutting up about it. "OMG, AND THERE'S THIS ONE GAME WHERE YOU HAVE A JETPACK AND NOW I FEEL LIKE I HAVE A JETPACK" (Omega Agent)
Oh, and get a controller while you're at it. I had a blast without it, but it's even better with it - not to mention some of the coolest games require it. But yeah, this is my first experience (not counting minimal cardboard experience), and I'm beyond psyched. The hype is real for me.
Oh oh and and and...they are broadcasting some pretty good boxing matches (I'm a big boxing fan) this weekend. Very excited to see how that plays out.
I think if Wipeout VR doesn't happen, I will cry. I'm willing to settle for Hydro Thunder.
Grid Runner or something like the Mario game in Nintendoland would be fun... or that Pac Man that came out for Gamecube or N64... I guess I'm trying to say tag.
Colecovision was MY first console, and I have a lot of fond memories playing Gorf, Mouse Trap, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Turbo, and the Super Action sports games with my dad. I'd buy it if they could somehow push it out with those ridiculous controllers again.
